Faith in learning, achievement for all

We Have Lots of Fun All Together

Our school community is small and friendly and everyone knows each other. We like to do things all together for example:

  • During Book Week in March we all dress up – this year we came as our favourite hero or heroine. Our older pupils read to our younger pupils and vice versa and we all worked together to produce a story inspired by a short video clip called Dreamgiver and then there was the staff play!
  • We celebrated the end of a busy week, during which we were visited by Ofsted, by producing our own 'Harlem Shake'!
  • We took part in the 'Take One Picture' competition run by the National Gallery. This year's picture was the 'Bathers of Asnieres' by Georges Seurat and we spent a week with our curriculum being inspired by the picture and worked together to produce the following film and composite picture (every child painted a square).
